JU Alumni Singapore- Fireside Chat 2025
Jadavpur University Alumni Association Singapore Chapter (JUAAS) hosted a successful fireside chat on August 22, 2025, at the NTU Auditorium in One North, Singapore. The event, titled *"Riding the AI Wave: Current Breakthroughs and the Promises Ahead,"* brought together approximately 70 guests for an engaging evening of discussion, networking, and dinner.
The chat featured a distinguished panel of experts from diverse fields, including academia, consulting, legal, and technology. They engaged in a cross-functional dialogue on how to responsibly harness the power of AI to drive impactful outcomes. The discussion explored key topics such as how AI is reshaping strategy, human capital, business operations, legal, and finance functions. Panelists also shared success stories, discussed how to measure the impact of AI, and explored the risks and opportunities that lie ahead.

The discussion was moderated by Saurav Chatterjee, APAC Delivery & Business Development Principal at OneByZero.

JU Alumni Singapore- Panel discussion on Start-up, 2017
JU Alumni Association, Singapore chapter (JUAAS) in collaboration with NCE Bengal Alumni association held the panel discussion on Thursday (Nov 10, 2016) at TKP Conference Centre at Raffles Place on start-up infrastructure available in Singapore to aspiring entrepreneurs.
The event was inaugurated by Acting High Commissioner of India, Mrs Paramita Tripathi, and attended by veterans of the startup ecosystem including investors, incubators and entrepreneurs, who shared their stories and experiences at the discussion.
